Wrapping Paper Wood Grain Christmas Candles

We LOVE birch tree candles, however, we can not bring ourselves to put out the amount of money some places are asking for them. Of course we set our minds to making our own birch bark candles and set out to find some paper to use. While on a shopping trip at Target in the Christmas section, we found a birch bark wood grain looking wrapping paper in our White Christmas theme colors!!!!

We were jumping for joy inside and could not wait to get home and get working on our Wood Grain Christmas Candles for our mantel!

What you need to make Wood Grain Candles:

Candles (we use flameless)
Wood grain wrapping paper (found at Target)
Double stick tape
Scissors

Directions:

Cut to fit wrapping paper on candles
Secure with double stick tape

We love the metallic Wintery look of the paper. And so much cheaper!

[Jesus said,] "I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. This is to my Father's glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples."

John 15: 5,8
