Some form of chocolate is a must during Easter. Some prefer bunnies, however we are loving these chocolate Easter eggs that, well, may look like a delicious Easter treat, but are really faux chocolate eggs.
We were inspired when we saw this Easter craft, but we were having a hard time finding the right material to reproduce such a craft, so, we decided to do the next best thing... eggs!
To make your own chocolate Easter eggs all you need is:
Chocolate brown spray paint. The one we used is called leather and you need these dyeable craft eggs we found at the craft store.
These eggs are pretty realistic looking aren't they!
We gave one of the eggs a little test spray to see how we liked it. We liked it !!!
So like little bunnies we quickly got to work sticking our eggs on bamboo skewers and securing them on a piece of styrofoam. Then we got to spray painting the eggs and allowing them to dry.
We don't blame you one bit if you would like to take a bite out of one of these little eggs.
They look the real good!!!
Maybe a chocolate Easter egg hunt is in order!
After he had said this, Jesus was troubled in spirit and testified, "I tell you the truth, one of you is going to betray me."
