What's For Dinner?:{Frame Menu Craft}

Put it in writing!!!
Let them know what the dinner menu is while at the same time
 brightening up your kitchen too!
Why use something plain and boring to announce your weekly meals when
you can create very inexpensively an attractive dinner menu?!

While looking for a way to be more organized and de clutter the refrigerator door,
we came across this clever idea from Real Simple and decided to give it a try.

What You Will Need:
Dollar Tree picture frame. Magnets{on hand} Scrapbook paper{on hand}
 Glue{on hand}Embellishments {on sale Michael's .99} Spray paint{on hand}
Dry erase markers and eraser{on hand}
Project cost: around $3.00!

How To:
Disassemble your picture frame setting aside the glass and cardboard.
Size your scrapbook paper to fit inside the frame.
Spray paint the picture frame.

Once frame is dry, reassemble the frame by replacing the glass,
scrapbook paper and cardboard backing.

Apply the magnets to the back of the frame using a strong glue.
 We used E6000.

Arrange your chosen embellishments.
We found the red polka dot rosette at Michael's on sale.
Using a paper doilie and red food picks we had,
we layered them all together to make a fun kitchen embellishment for our frame.

Once your embellishment is completed, glue it onto your frame.

We have a black refrigerator and surprisingly,
 the black frame works well against the black back round.

Not only will this help to let the family know what to expect for dinner,
but it will help you out with planning your weekly menu.
And with school starting back up
 it will be nice to be organized and have a schedule to help us out!
We hope you are inspired to "put it in writing"!

Remember, keep it Homespun!

                                                        For He spoke, and it came to be;
                                                        He commanded, and it stood firm.
