Crescent Moon Chandelier

Setting the mood, the magic of the moon.
  Although we all talk about the Moon, think about the Moon, look up at the Moon, the Moon still remains a mystery to us, it has been this way for eons  and will be for eons to come. Because of the mystery, the Moon holds a fascination for everyone, and who can help being riveted by the beauty of a full Moon and what the Moon can reveal. The light of the Moon seems to contain a magic all its own, yet something that we all wish to share in, the allure of the Moon has a place in our hearts, as it did in the hearts of our ancestors. {source & continue reading}

We blew the dust off of our Cricut machine and got to work cutting Halloween crescent moons to hang from our chandelier.  We simply used some Halloween scrap book paper that had a pattern on one side and was blank on the other . We love the two-tone effect. When the October breeze blew in the windows the moons would begin their dance and show off from all sides.

Do you have the same problem in your home with Halloween spiders, cob webs and haunted tree branches all wanting to be on the action!

We really do have a black cat named Ivy who would never think of sitting on top of the hutch. This cat must be the Halloween cat who can pretty much get away with anything.

Our neighbors, The Bats, stopped by to check out our crescent moon chandelier and decided to hang around awhile!

Even the friendly raven loves to admire the beauty of the moon.

Time to sit for a spell and take in all the Halloween goodness that is around. Thank you so much for sharing a bit of your time with us today. Be inspired, get creative!

Better is a little with the fear of the Lord,
Than great treasure with trouble.
