Thankful Decorating

Something {much} to be thankful for.  Daily thankfulness and gratitude to our God for all He has done, is doing and will do has to be a conscious and deliberate act by us. This Thanksgiving we decided to place in our dinning room some beautiful seasonal prints to help us to remember to give thanks daily and many times over. We call it affectionately our thankful decorating.

We are forever changing out one print for another and sometimes spray painting the frame to change the over all look. For this project we touched up the frame with a quick coat of spray paint and used free printables and some faux leaves. Normally we would work with one print per frame, since these frames larger, it allowed us to double the prints and make for an interesting piece.

We took our prints and taped them onto the cardboard backing in the picture frame.
Next we taped down our leaves and placed the prints in the frame.

Craftily Ever After

We would have loved to have shown you these hung up on the dinning room walls, however the lighting in our home casts so many reflections that we had to show you them this way.

As we spend time this Thanksgiving with family and friends, are hope is that no matter what circumstances we are facing, no matter how dire or negative it appears... we can look to the Lord and say "Thank you Father, how great Thou art".

                                                              Be inspired, get creative!
In mercy and truth
Atonement is provided for iniquity;
And by the fear of the Lord one departs from evil.

  1. What beautiful printables! I love how you've added two together and the leaves on top. So pretty!
