Boys Easter Lip Balm

Are you looking for an idea for an older boys Easter basket? Say ten years old? We have an idea that will allow you to get crafty and put something in that boys basket!

It seems 10 year old boys still like to receive an Easter basket, but what they want is a fine line between too babyish and cool. Since we still had on hand a good supply of lip balm making materials, we decided to go that route for the Easter basket. Not only one lip balm, but several in different sports Easter eggs!

Got to love the Dollar tree for things like this. They are just perfect.

First things first. Clean and dry the eggs before using.
There are little holes on the top and bottom of the eggs, so we just put a piece of tape over the hole on the bottom to keep the liquid form leaking out.

We tried a new lip balm recipe for these. This one is from Health Impact News Daily, and the main oil is our beloved, Coconut Oil.

We used a muffin tin to hold our eggs in for safe pouring. Be sure not to move the eggs around once poured so they will set up properly.

Here they are setting up. It takes about 20-30 minutes depending on the container used.

This recipe is very nice and creamy. We scented ours with lime/coconut and it smells so tropical. A boy will love the scent! Good for his cuticles too mom!

These are fun no matter what type of sport your boy plays or likes, and the ingredients are good, natural ingredients you can feel good about him using.

So that's that! Boys Easter basket goodies done and not a lick of candy in this one!

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge,
But fools despise wisdom and instruction.
