May Flower Celebration Basket

Here's a quick and easy little May flower basket that you can make and hang on someones door May 1st! Just tip toe up to the porch, hang the basket on the door knob, ring the door bell and run like heck!

To make our May flower baskets we used peat pots, floral stickers, silk flowers, moss, twine, small piece of Styrofoam to fit inside the pot and ribbon.

We started by making two holes on each side of the pot to hang our pot with twine. Than we tied the twine on making a handle.

Next we placed the small piece of Styrofoam inside the pot and trimmed down the stems of the flowers to fit nicely in the pot and stuck them into the foam.

Using the craft moss, we filled in the inside of the pot.

We decorated the front of the pot with our sticker and tied on some pretty ribbon.

We love how bright and alive the colors are.

And when the wind catches the ribbons they do such a pretty dance.

Something thoughtful to say Happy May Day is sure to put a smile on your recipients face all day!

Whether you celebrate Walpurgis Night or May Day, make up some festive flower baskets and share the love!

My son, hold on to good sense and the understanding of what is right.
Don’t let them out of your sight.
