Retro Polka Dot Flower Pots With Free Retro Printables

We hope a wonderful Mother's Day was had by all!. Not only did we celebrate Mother's Day this past weekend, but several birthday's too! May is a very busy month of celebrations for us.

Knowing we wanted to give birthday gifts and make them unique, we decided on retro polka dot flower pots that could be used indoors or out, and changed up from season to season with different flowers, and were inexpensive to make.

To Make these Retro Polka Dot Flower Pots You Will Need:

* Plastic flower pot(s) in your preferred size and color. {We found ours at Walmart for .97 cents and they are a small to medium size}

* Craft paint and different size round sponge applicators { The paint we used is Apple Barrel's Gloss Acrylic Paint. It says it is weather resistant. Durable outdoor and indoor}

* Garden flowers and soil

Since our weather has been just beautiful we were able to make this an outdoors project.

* Begin by pouring out an amount of paint into a tray or dish. We just grabbed a piece of tinfoil and used it.

* Dab into the paint alternating between a large and small sponge and apply to the flower pot.

* Set aside to dry.

* Add potting soil to pots and plant flowers. Don't forget to give them a little drink too!

To make our retro polka dot flower pots even more retro and to say "Happy Birthday", we used these cool retro printables designed by Anything But Perfect for World Label. They are part of a birthday printable set, and they are free!

Happy, happy these little pots make us and we hope they make the recipients even happier!

Of course we used these as a gift, but they would make cute table centerpieces, indoors or out.

                                                Happy retro crafting!

A woman who commits adultery has lips that drip honey.
    What she says is smoother than oil.

But in the end she is like bitter poison.
    She cuts like a sword that has two edges.
Her feet go down to death.
    Her steps lead straight to the grave.

She doesn't give any thought to her way of life.
    Her paths are crooked, but she doesn't realize it.
