Strawberry Peach Smoothie

 Are you in the mood for a cool, sweet strawberry peach smoothie? With the warm days we are currently having in our area, it seems more like Summer than Spring.
 So we started making smoothies like it was!

                                  Strawberry Peach Smoothie Recipe

1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries { use unsweetened strawberries}

1 cup fresh or frozen sliced peaches {use unsweetened peaches}

1/2 cup plain, unsweetened Greek yogurt {full fat, low or non}

1 cup unsweetened coconut milk in the carton

2 tablespoons melted coconut oil

Liquid sweetener to taste {we use Agave}

Ice if desired {handful}

Place all ingredients in the Vit A Mix or blender except the coconut oil and begin blending till almost smooth. At that point add the coconut oil and blend until smooth. Adjust sweetness. If too thick add additional coconut milk.

Optional add ins: kale, spinach, protein powder, maca powder.

To make a cute little smoothie jar lid we used a cupcake paper and simply replaced it for the jar seal, poked a tiny hole in the cupcake paper for a straw.

Even if the smoothie is just for yourself, it is nice to make the container pretty too!

                                                               Frothy, cool pink goodness!

The great thing about smoothies is that there is no right or wrong way to making them. There are so many flavor combinations. You are only limited by your imagination!

The Lord puts a curse on the houses of sinners.
    But he blesses the homes of those who do what is right.

Proverbs 3:33
